Collective Journeying

Thank you – one and all – for your fellowship and followship these past years as I grew in my understanding and teaching of Intention and the Law of Attraction. This process has expanded into what is now my Personal Power Practice, rooted in those two fundamentals. I help people stay happy and fulfilled by reexamining the experiences and beliefs standing in their way. Your support and encouragement in our conversations and written exchanges have been a big part of how I have evolved, and I thank you.

And now, a change.

My work was always encouraged and supported by my beloved late husband. And even though these past years had been difficult for us both as he experienced his long and difficult decline, Laird always encouraged me to continue working and studying. While I lost Laird last year and miss the life we had together, his presence and encouragement are still a large part of my daily living and work.  I’m ready to implement a change he had long asked me to consider.

Over the years, I’ve been careful to stay neutral in my public teachings and writings, preferring to leave social and political postures to the reader. In today’s social and political climate, however, that neutral position no longer works for me, and I’m taking definite steps to speak out with Intention at the core of my words. Once again, I would be grateful for your help.

Everything I read and study in scripture and science tells me all of creation – in a spiritual and natural sense – moves forward when work is done with Intention - in unity and collaboration. Gary Zukav has been teaching this for years – for any body or system to survive and thrive, it needs four components: harmony, cooperation, sharing and reverence for life.   In our current cultural and political climate of division, diminishment and other-ness, thriving as a people or a planet is out of reach; surviving has come into question.

Democracy of necessity brings with it cultural and political shifts requiring respectful dialogue, sharing of opinions, and change – always change – reflecting the needs of the whole as it benefits the whole. As a species, we have advanced and progressed with “whole” as the operative term. We move and grow and sustain and thrive if we see each other within the whole, as one inspired whole. Forces that divide us put our survival – as a life form and as a planet – at risk.

I have great hope for our nation and our world. I believe our true nature of love and oneness will take us from surviving to thriving once we see ourselves and each other through one lens of connectedness and interrelationship. That process is fragile and easily derailed, and therefore must be deliberate. Our collective vision, willingness to see things differently, and readiness to admit when we’re wrong are all necessary for moving us from surviving to thriving.

We all have a part to play in our collective evolution. I mentioned earlier in this blog that I need your help. I welcome your comments and ask that you write me. I have updated my website – mariejackson.net – please take a look and give me your thoughts. I plan to blog regularly on important issues of our day and ask that you tell me the matters you want me to address. My message will have Intention, the Law of Attraction and Personal Power at its core as I address current topics of justice and cultural inequities and how we can collectively address them. Please share your ideas and questions.

And now a bit of housekeeping. We all get a lot of emails - too many sometimes, and it’s hard to keep up or keep track. I hope you’ll choose to stay on my email distribution list for Personal Power Boosts which go out every day, and for blogs which will be infrequent and topical. If at any time you wish to be deleted from either or both of these, please feel free to unsubscribe. Personal Power is about choosing what’s right for you. If you decide later to resubscribe, you can always do so.

Thank you again for being part of my journey. The road ahead continues to broaden for me. I’m glad to be traveling it with you.

Much Love to All,

Marie
